Activision and Bungie are celebrating the beta by giving players a way to show off their participation. In order to earn your cosmetic swag, all you need to do is play later in the day on Saturday, July 26.
All you need to do is play starting at 2 p.m. Pacific/5 p.m. Eastern in order to earn the emblem. We haven’t seen what it looks like yet, but we can safely expect that there will be a number of them affixed to profiles come September 9.
Destiny will be out for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3. The beta will continue through July 27.

Our Take
These little tokens are nice reminders later on that you were there when it all started. Unlike a gun or armor piece that loses its value the more you play, a cosmetic emblem can always be enabled without penalty, even during the end-game.
